Vitamin E BSA conjugate, is one of Nanocs bioactive Vitamin BSA conjugates that can be used for immunoassay development. Vitamin E, also called tocopherols, are a series (α, β, γ and δ) of chiral organic molecules that vary in their degree of methylation of the phenol moiety of the chromanol ring. Tocopherols are lipid soluble anti-oxidants that protect cell membranes from oxidative damage. Among them, α-Tocopherol, is the most biologically active vitamin E form. Vitamin E BSA conjugate from Nanocs was made from the convalent conjugation of α-Tocopherol to the lysine residues of BSA. This conjugate has been purified by size-exclusion chromatography to ensure its purity for adequate applications both in-vitro and in-vivo.
