M100 Magnetic Nanobeads, streptavidin conjugated:

M100TMmagnetic nanobeads conjugated with stretavdin are one of Nanocs’ multifunctional super paramagnetic beads that can be used for biomolecule and cell labeling, tracking, purification and separation. Streptavidin conjugated M100TM magnetic nanobeads can bind to biotinylated antibodies, peptides, nucleic acids and many other biomolecules with high affinity. For this property, our streptavidin M100 beads can be used for cellular and molecular detection, imaging and separation. The average size of our streptavidin magnetic nanobeads is around 100 nm with size distribution in the range of 100-150 nm. These magnetic nanoparticles have iron oxide core over coated by special biocompatible polymers and make them well suited for biomedical applications. Unlike large magnetic beads, those small magnetic nanoparticles have very small particle size and they can be used directly for cell separation without disturbing or disrupting regular cell development process. On the other hand, unlike very small magnetic nanoparticles, our M100TM magnetic nanobeads can be extracted by magnet without need magnetic column, a big advantage for fast and convenient biomolecule or cell labeling and separation.

The hydrophilic polyethylene glycol (PEG) spacer arm imparts water solubility that is transferred to the biolinylated molecules , thus reducing aggregation of labeled proteins in solution. The PEG spacer arm also gives the biotin a long and flexible structure to minimize steric hindrance for binding to streptavidin or avdins. NanoBright® Gold Nanoparticles:

NanoBright® gold nanoparticles from Nanocs have narrow size distribution yet with multiple size selection from 2 nm to 250 nm. These gold nanoparticles have spherical shape, completely soluble in water, have been used widely for the development of diagnostic probes, therapeutic agents and drug delivery vehicles. The optical and electronic properties of gold nanoparticles are tunable by changing the size, shape, surface chemistry and aggregate state. These gold nanoparticles can be further modified with different surface coatings and functional groups to render them with unique chemical and biological reactivity. Nanocs surface modified gold particles provide more choices for in-vitro or in-vivo applications of those nanoparticles. Customer conjugation and modification is available upon request.

Description:

Nanocs SnapLink PFP PEG biotin (Pentafluorophenyl PEG Biotin) is a pegylated, amine reactive biotinylation reagent similar to Biotin-PEG-NHS. Compare to NHS-PEG-Biotin, PFP-PEG-Biotin is more reactive and it can be used to label both primary and secondary amine groups in pH 7 to 9. The hydrophilic polyethylene glycol (PEG) spacer arm imparts water solubility that is transferred to the biotinylated molecules , thus reducing aggregation of labeled substrates in solution. The PEG spacer arm also gives the biotin a long and flexible structure to minimize steric hindrance for binding to streptavidin or avdins. Pentafluorophenyl esters of biotin react efficiently with primary and secondary amino groups (-NH2) in alkaline buffer to form a stable amide bond. Nanocs provides a variety of high purity biotin and its derivatives for various biotinylation and bioassay applications. These functional biotin products were purified by chromatography to remove impurities and ensure adequate applications both in-vitro and in-vivo.
