Gold coated magnetic particles, carboxylic acid functional:

Nanocs provides carboxylic acid (-COOH) functionalized magnetic particles coated with a thin layer of gold nanoparticles on their surface. Thickness of this gold layer ranges from 20-100 nm. Carboxylic groups on these gold coated magnetic particles can react with a variety of acid reactive molecules, such as fluorophores, peptides, proteins, antibodies or nucleic acids. Reaction of carboxylic acid and other molecules enables our gold coated magnetic particles be used for cellular and molecular purification and separation.

Biotin ligands on these gold nanoparticle coated magnetic particles can bind to avidin, streptavidin or neutravidin with high affinity. Biotinylated gold magnetic particles thus can be used for bioassay development, molecule or cell separation and purification.
