Nanocs SnapLink maleimide acid is an amine and sulfhydryl reactive crosslinker. This crossliker is non-cleavable and water soluble. It contains a carboxylic acid that can be activated with EDC and reacts toward primary amine groups. The maleimide group reacts with available sulfhydryl groups from naturally occurring or mutagenically derived cysteine residues at pH 6.5~7.5 to form stable thioether bonds.

Description:

Nanocs SnapLink maleimide PEG NHS is a pegylated, amine and sulfhydryl reactive crosslinker. This crossliker is non-cleavable and water soluble. It contains an amine reactive, NHS ester and a sulfhydryl reactive maleimide group linked with polyethylene glycol of different length. The hydrophilic polyethylene glycol (PEG) spacer arm imparts water solubility that is transferred to the crosslinked molecules , thus reducing aggregation of labeled proteins in solution. The PEG spacer arm also gives the maleimide NHS a long and flexible structure to minimize steric hindrance for its reaction to other molecues. NHS esters react with deprotonated primary amines in pH 7-9. The maleimide group reacts with thiol groups at pH 6.5~7.5 to form stable thioether bonds.

Description

Aldehyde functionalized glass slides are one of Nanocs premier functional glass products. Nanocs provides various surface functionalized glass slides and coverslips that can be used to attach biomolecules on top of them. Functional groups and coatings include amine, carboxylic acid, aldehyde, epoxide, biotin, streptavidin, NTA, maleimide, disulfide, azide, alkyne, as well as poly-D-lysine and poly-L-lysine.
